There is no better person to take care of your horse than Amanda Fisher.
From day one she has treated Dudley like he's one of her own. She takes an interest in all
phases of his care including his feed and supplements, farrier, chiropractor and vet visits,
blanketing, medications, exercise programs, turnout, and making sure all tack and horse
clothing is appropriate and fits correctly.
Amanda recognizes that horses, like people, are individuals with individual needs. She is
approachable and good with people as well as good with horses, and that is a combination that
is hard to find.
Amanda goes above and beyond for all the horses in the barn. The time she spends and her
dedication to these horses is extraordinary.
If you are obsessed with your horse like I am, you can rest easy putting Amanda in charge of your
horse's care.

I have been working with Amanda now for about 4 years since I decided to start riding again after a long hiatus. Our relationship started with her evaluation of a 3-year-old OTTB that I wanted trained for eventing and has continued through the course of these past years allowing me to experience every facet of Amanda’s amazing gift with horses. She brought my OTTB to a consistent top three placing in less than a year of training, and got me to my first event ever. She continued to progress my horse, and my skills up to the point of his retirement. She provided my horse with the best care imaginable and being a high maintenance horse really allowed her to show her passion and care for horses. She was with my boy every step of the way and was a major blessing to me when trying to diagnose and ultimately retire him. Our relationship grew further when it came time for her to find myself a new mount. She took what I wanted as a horse lover, my skills as a rider, and my budget as an owner to heart as she searched for the perfect horse. Based at a lovely facility, Amanda is now showing her skills at rehabbing my new horse to become fit enough to continue our journey into eventing. Amanda has been there for me and my horses every step of the way, and I feel very blessed to have found such an amazing person.

I brought my horse Lady Jones to Amanda after her diagnosis with kissing spines. It took a long time to find her diagnosis and along the way her pain had begun to express in explosive behavior. By the time she got to Amanda, she hadn’t been ridden in months while we treated her pain.

Amanda brought her back slowly and safely. She took her time winning Lady’s heart and showing her that riding could be fun and pain-free again. She also found that Lady preferred living outdoors in a paddock and that it greatly improved her physical well being.

Six months later, Lady was back in action, flatting and happily jumping small fences. Amanda worked tirelessly to find her new person, someone who would support Lady’s needs and ensure she stays happy and sound. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Amanda is trustworthy and a true horsewoman. I wouldn’t hesitate to send another horse her way for rehab, training, or sales. I’m lucky to have found her.

Amanda found my perfect partner for me in 2019. We were on a shopping trip for a new horse for me to Oregon. I had lost my previous horse to a terrible illness and wasn’t in the “shopping mood” yet but I had found a horse in Oregon I wanted to try out.
On the way there Amanda reached out to one of her many contacts she has around the world to see if there was maybe another horse we could look at in the same area. And low and behold there was.
When we went to look at Columbus and it is safe to say I was more than underwhelmed by his appearance and blasé attitude. My general feeling for him got only marginally better during my test ride. He was sluggish and lazy and……. My husband jumped two jumps on him ( I had no interest and bravery).
Amanda nodded happily and declared that this was my horse, he was perfect. I thought she had lost her mind and kept quiet hoping the other horse would work out, he did not.
After many protests that I am to embarrassed to mention here, Columbus came home to CA and the work began for both of us.
Fast forward through two incredible years competing with him and countless ribbons , many blue ones Columbus made us triple Area VI Champions and Reserve Champions at BN level.
Lesson learned, if Amanda says “This is your horse” believe her. She has an uncanny eye for matching horse and rider.
